Project Statement: This is a stippling made with marker pen on watercolor paper (11in x 8in). This is the third part of the series. I took inspiration from the Joker film, In the center is a portrait of a clown with his fingers hooked in his mouth to make smile on his face. He is seen with tears coming down his face and falling into a puddle that sits below. Beneath the portrait is a clown laying down in a puddle of tears with a look of defeat. This piece is about grief, Grief of the self. Trying to hold on to the old self while embracing the new self.
