Artist Statement: My work is influenced by fantasy, while also taking inspiration from the natural world to create something imaginative, weird and superficially realistic. I glimpse at the world around me and think about what I could add to it or take from it. In turn, I create unique characters influenced from nature, plants, animals and objects, including ones based around fantasy. I also illustrate stimulating patterns and circular artworks as a side hobby. My goal is to showcase a world built on concepts and ideas, as well as experiences and emotion from my own life. It's to make art that introduces others to who I am and art that feels fun.
