Artist Statement: I am a Chicago native, and I've been creating art my whole life. As a Fine Arts major at Columbia, I've been able to explore all kinds of creative practices, but I always fall back to traditional drawing and painting. I like to create work that represents myself -- my emotions, mental illnesses, and life experiences -- as well as portraying people and things that are important to me. My Dark Market work is a series of ink drawings I made for Goretober in 2020.
