Artist Statement: When creating these images, I wanted to explore the idea of what is a photograph. If an object is photographed then digitally manipulated into a new space, should it still be considered a photograph?

This question has persisted throughout the history of photography, similar to the questioning of should photography be considered art. Through my images, I explored the difference between photographing for the sake of art and photographing to document.
