Artist Statement:
My name is Abby Smith AKA Crabby Abby and I am passionate about creating moody, narrative illustrations juxtaposed with cute, soft color palettes. Originally from the Kansas City area, I moved to Chicago in 2019 to pursue an education and career in the visual arts. I am currently in my last semester at Columbia College Chicago studying Illustration with a minor in Animation. Aside from art, my hobbies include listening to music, reading about astrology (Pisces gang!), drinking lots of coffee, and eating croissants.
