ShopColumbia is pleased to announce that we will be attending this year's EXPO CHICAGO, The International Exposition of Contemporary & Modern Art. We are proud to present a diverse selection of fine art, photography, printmaking, film and interdisciplinary work by Columbia College Chicago students and alumni. This year we are located at booth #867 near the stairs to Special Projects and the Dining Lounge. EXPO CHICAGO 2017 artists include:
Ricardo Bouyett, Photography '15
Bouyett will showcase film, photography, and fine art zines from the Oh Bouy photo series and film that explores the complexity of manhood in contemporary American society through the queer Latinx lens.

Hale Ekinci, Interdisciplinary Arts and Media '11
Chicago based Turkish artist, Ekinci, will showcase colorful and symbolic collages of photo-transfer images with ink illustration that narrate intercultural connections and social images of immigration and refugees.

Kyra Peterson, Interdisciplinary Arts '18
Current Columbia College Chicago student, Peterson, will showcase a film, artist book, and textiles from her project Sense which explores the elements of visual fine art within performative movement.

Henry Voellmecke, Fine Art '17
Voellmecke will showcase a set of new large scale, geometric silkscreen prints which explore phenomena and formalism to discuss the relationship between the viewer and the viewed.

Aobo Wang, Photography '17
Recent Columbia College Chicago graduate, Wang, will showcase a set of large scale photographs that intersect fine art and fashion photography developed in Shanghai.
