Artist Statement: I'm from Longmont, CO. I moved to Chicago to study at Columbia, and I do really love it here. Queer love is my biggest inspiration, because it's been hidden, or changed, or neglected in popular media for so long. Taking the tropes that popped up around Queer love and perceiving them with empathy drives much of my work.
