Artist Statement: Nathan Doty is a mixed media artist that emphasizes audience participation and symbolism through abstract visuals and text. Nathan is traditionally a drawer/painter but he recently has extended his practice into the world of gesture and installation. Nathan as an artist tends to tell personal stories within his work that then translate to larger themes and conversations.
