Artist Statement: Hello, I'm Owen LaPorta, born and raised in Chicago. I'm a graduating Illustration student at Columbia College Chicago. I like to work with narrative art through comics or concept art ranging from wholesome or light hearted themes to more horror oriented. I also have done graphic design work and love logos of all kinds from sports teams to products, etc. Normally I enjoy working in traditional media but sometimes I mix my traditional work with my digital. This particular set of works gravitate to my love of retro design.
