ShopColumbia has partnered with The Student Organization Council to create a line of merchandise around the new mascot, the Columbia Cosmos, which is now available for purchase in-store and online at ShopColumbia, with 50% of the profits directly supporting student organizations.

 

This line of merchandise includes a shirt design in two colors, deep teal and lavender, a hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap, and a reusable water bottle, all branded with the Columbia Cosmos logo!

 

About the Design
The change from the former Columbia Renegades to the new Columbia Cosmos came after students were encouraged to submit ideas for what they would like the new mascot to be. Students then voted on those names, and the Columbia Cosmos won by gaining the highest number of votes.

 

A second call went out for any students who were interested in submitting their designs for what they thought the new Columbia Cosmos logo should look like. Submissions were reviewed by an internal council which ultimately selected the current Cosmos logo created by Jadyn Kowalkowski (Musical Theater, 2029).
