Maya Krueger is an artist from Chicago with an affection for the city and creating. She is pursuing a BA in illustration and is minoring in fine art and plans to graduate from Columbia College Chicago in the spring of 2024. She began taking art classes in high school as a way to explore a hobby, and quickly realized just how meaningful art is to her. She creates mostly with traditional mediums, with her favorite being oil paint. She also loves to experiment with different techniques, incorporating a realistic style with interesting materials, such as collage. She is inspired by the small moments in life that often go overlooked and enjoys shifting her perspective, giving them a new appreciation.
