Major: Animation Major, 2027

Artist Statement: Throughout my artistic journey, I have made a connection with my characters and their worlds, growing up, learning, and maturing beside them. Through them, I explore various themes of life, time, mentality, humanity, self, and others in various ways with different mediums. As an animation major I strive to take these themes and inspirations and bring even more life into them by making them move. While my current main medium is digital I come from a very heavy traditional background, making up a majority of my techniques that I still use to his day. I come from a rather lonely childhood and isolating background allowing (and sometimes forcing) a lot of imagination to be done in my little brain. I used whatever I had around me to create worlds, characters, and everything in between to keep me company, something to grow with me. A decade later I'm still working with my stories and these characters to make them the best they can be. So I'll become that right beside them. From music, television shows, my own life, and everything else I've seen, I use as inspiration for my art. My current projects: "Shadows of Smoke" and "The Fools Birthright" are two main stories that umbrella various in-depth topics. With the end goal of making them both animated shows.
