Artist Statement:
Hello! My name is Anthony Hernandez i’m a photographer born and raised in Chicago, currently studying at Columbia College Chicago. Most of my work focuses on people, places, and small moments that typically go unnoticed. I love finding beauty in ordinary things such as train platforms, cars at stoplights, or the way light hits buildings in the city. Since I’ve lived here my whole life but on the South Side of Chicago, a lot of my inspiration comes straight from the downtown area, inspiring these sets of cityscapes. A couple of my other pieces are also from when I visited Los Angeles, California and a bit of Disneyland at Anaheim. They're beautiful imagery that describe my experience and the beauty of California.
