Artist Statement: Hi! My name is Grace, I am a 26 year old from Milwaukee Wisconsin. I am a transfer student finishing my senior year here at Columbia and I love to create vibrant illustrations that are packed with bright colors and energetic lines. I am very inspired by girlhood and the act of playing dress-up, so a lot of my work involves creating and decorating characters. I also enjoy playing with how these characters exist and interact in different spaces. What might be in this girls bedroom or how does she emote while riding the train.
