Artist Statement

Isabella Scott is an illustrator and fine artist from Winnebago, Illinois. She currently lives in Chicago. She has created a wide range of art in a variety of mediums from ballpoint pen to photography. She loves creating a world where she combines fact and fantasy. She has dedicated her career to creating diverse and inclusive work that celebrates the uniqueness of everyone and the world around her.

Isabella’s work has been seen in galleries, magazines, murals, and editorial publications. Her strong understanding of visual storytelling has helped her create unique, diverse illustrations that have been on display all throughout Chicago and even internationally in Korea. Her work has been featured in the Chicago Reader and Southside Weekly. She has been in numerous gallery shows including Columbia’s March of Mini’s, Portrait Show, and Illustrate the Vote. She also is a budding muralist with her latest mural right across Grant Park as a part of the Wabash Art Corridors.
