What inspired you to create this design?
The inspiration behind my design was diversity & inclusion through Columbia College Chicago’s heritage of creativity, innovation, & strength. I chose a bold font typography style to emphasize these factors. My warm color palette is a unique expression to stand out. It is also a reflection of our art community at this institution.

Give us an update about recent projects/artistic life events; what's next for you?
I am looking forward to organizing and expanding on projects to include in my portfolio to apply for summer 2024 internship opportunities in my field of study. I am also excited to continue on with my college/networking experience with my fellow peers and professors at Columbia College Chicago.

Artist Statement
I am a creative Graphic Designer based in the Chicago area. I have a desire to take on new challenges for art direction & visual brand identity design and marketing in my future. I have an eye for detail and empathy. My design ethic is tangible, vibrant, and optimistic. I am a joyful mother of an eight year old son. I serve in the Illinois Army National Guard. In my freetime, I enjoy expanding on my creativity through YouTube videos including day in the life, art & design, and motivational vlogs. I'm a firm believer in being able to pursue passions and create a life you desire with happiness & love through creativity and faith.
