Artist Statement: Hello hello, My Name is Viola Larios or Da Lazy Weeb in the art world. I’m an artist from the Southeast side of Chicago, and I like to draw cute things to try and make people from around the world happy. A lot of my work takes place in this dream-like world filled with creativity and imagination. The character that is depicted in my work is a self representation of myself and reflects my own personal experiences with gender identity. This character often enters the dream world to escape the struggles and traumas of the real world. Most of my work is done digitally where I then print and cut them into stickers. I often sell these stickers and events and pop up in my neighborhood and around the city, so I’ll be able to encourage as many people as possible to possibly make someone’s day a little better ^_^
